Community Guidelines
Last updated: 18 October 2026
Small things. Better people. Better India. Our community is built around useful lessons, everyday kindness and constructive participation.
Two sections, one purpose
In Common Sense, share helpful lessons and good habits others can follow. In Non Sense, share observations of civic mistakes with an explanation of their impact and a practical better action. The purpose of both sections is to teach and encourage improvement in good faith.
Make every observation constructive
Describe the behaviour, explain why it matters and suggest what to do instead. “Non Sense” refers to an action, not a label for a person. Give people the dignity and opportunity to change. Do not use posts to threaten exposure, demand punishment or encourage confrontation.
Educate without shaming
Discuss a behaviour and how to improve it. Do not identify, ridicule or organise harassment against a person. Avoid accusations of wrongdoing against identifiable people.
Protect privacy
Remove or obscure faces, number plates, phone numbers, home addresses and other identifying details before posting. Do not share private documents, conversations or images of children. Only upload content you have the right to share.
Keep discussion civil and inclusive
Disagree with ideas respectfully. Threats, hate speech, discriminatory abuse, bullying, sexual exploitation, graphic violence, scams and encouragement of illegal or dangerous acts are prohibited. Do not spam, impersonate others or post misleading claims.
Share responsibly
Give useful context without exposing private information. Do not stage unsafe acts, interfere with traffic, confront strangers or put yourself or others at risk to take a photograph. Celebrate good deeds without making someone a target.
Report concerns
Send content links or enough detail to locate a concern to sales@esalemedia.com. Avoid repeating sensitive information unnecessarily. We review reports and may remove content, restrict accounts or take other appropriate action. You may contact the same address to ask for a review of a moderation decision.
Use the right channel
Common Sense is an educational community, not an emergency, law-enforcement or official grievance service. For urgent assistance or formal complaints, contact the appropriate official service directly.
